:: The Horses Why We Use
Horses In the wild state, horses
are acutely aware of details in their surroundings. In order to
survive and to thrive, they keep a wide view. Even domestic horses
possess this highly accurate sensitivity. Balancing visual
information with their other senses they have the uncanny ability to
interpret intention as well as action. They read and respond to
situations, purpose, and body language that we might not even be
aware of ourselves, acting on their instincts instantaneously and
giving immediate feedback. Horses are intuitive and honest,
providing a genuine interpretation of reality. Not necessarily as we
would like it to be, but as it is. They are not biased, manipulative
or fettered by human agenda. They live and act purely in the moment.
As herd animals their survival and
functionality as a group depends on being tuned in to the slightest
inconsistencies in their environment. They will search for
genuineness and authenticity in us by nature. If we appear calm on
the outside but inside feel fear or turmoil, horses will know it.
They will mirror back inconsistent behaviors we may not be conscious
of, behaviors that may keep us from moving forward in life, moving
deeper into who we really are or moving past roadblocks. We use the age old term "Horse Sense"
for a good reason. It is something we all would like to have and
something we all stand to benefit from observing and experiencing. A
session guided by horses and experienced facilitators will give
insights that can be taken home and applied immediately to life,
often with profound and lasting
results.
